The 2012 WPRB Membership Drive<\/a> got off to a great start yesterday thanks to your support. Co-hosting Clean Yr Room with Art & Julia was great fun and we raised just over $2,100 for the station’s day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n

You may not have heard but for the first time WPRB has set a public fundraising goal<\/b> ($40,000). It remains my hope that between CYR and my program we can raise AT LEAST $5,000<\/b>. We’re on pace but we won’t pull this off without your much-appreciated and much-needed contributions.<\/p>\n

For my Membership Drive show this year I’m doing a program titled QUINTESSENTIAL WPRB.<\/p>\n

What’s the plan? Well, what are the all-time most over-requested, constantly-played songs you’ve heard on the station since you started listening? <\/p>\n

What songs from various promos and IDs do you wish you knew the identity of? <\/p>\n

On Wednesday night it all will come together. <\/p>\n

In addition to the station swag available starting at the $15 pledge level I’ve arranged “thank you” items from favorite labels including 12XU<\/a> and Dark Entires<\/a>. Donate $45 or more to be eligible to win.<\/p>\n

All pledges are tax-deductable, you can donate via check or credit card.<\/p>\n
