Support their events!<\/p>\n<p>May these works inspire you to record something for this December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Policymaker &#8211; \u201cSt. Peter The Poop\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keepingscoreathome.com\/audio\/policymaker.mp3\">Christmas Story<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/michaeltfournier.tumblr.com\" target=\"_new\">Michael T. Fournier<\/a> (gtr, bass, vox) and Rebecca Griffin (backing vox, bells) are Policymaker.  Mike is the drummer\/songwriter of <a href=\"https:\/\/deadtrend.bandcamp.com\" target=\"_new\">Dead Trend<\/a>, and the author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/The-Minutemens-Double-Nickels-Dime\/dp\/0826427871\" target=\"_new\">Double Nickels on the Dime<\/a> (33.3\/Bloomsbury) and, most recently, Swing State (Three Rooms Press). Rebecca is working on her PhD in English. They live in Western Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advance Base &#8211; &#8220;Christmas in Milwaukee\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 42px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=2527954402\/size=small\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/track=3255808290\/transparent=true\/\" seamless><a href=\"http:\/\/advancebase.bandcamp.com\/album\/nephew-in-the-wild\">Nephew in the Wild by Advance Base<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.advancebasemusic.com\" target=\"_new\">Advance Base<\/a> is music by Owen Ashworth, formerly of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.<\/p>\n<p>Walking the line between electronic pop &#038; more traditional singer\/songwriter forms, Ashworth builds minimalist, heavy-hearted, &#038; nostalgia-obsessed tunes around his conversational, baritone vocals, using electric pianos, Omnichords, orchestral samples, &#038; drum machines. The sound of Advance Base has been described as &#8220;depressed,&#8221; &#8220;lo-fi,&#8221; &#038; &#8220;pop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/advancebase.bandcamp.com\/album\/nephew-in-the-wild\" target=\"_new\">Christmas In Milwaukee<\/a>\u201d is now available on his latest album, &#8220;Nephew in the Wild.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew Reid-Schwartz &#8211; &#8220;Should Auld Acquaintance\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keepingscoreathome.com\/audio\/matthewreidschwartz.mp3\">Losing Mine<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. MRS plays plays guitar and occasional flute in the Seattle band <a href=\"http:\/\/kinski.net\/kinski\/\" target=\"_new\">Kinski<\/a>. Their most recent full-length &#8220;7 (Or 8)&#8221; is out now on <a href=\"http:\/\/killrockstars.com\" target=\"_new\">Kill Rock Stars<\/a>. Truth be told, he quite enjoys the holiday season &#8211; especially the port, pears and stilton. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Neal Markowski &#8211; \u201cTuba Christmas\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keepingscoreathome.com\/audio\/tubachristmas.mp3\">Xmas 83<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nealmarkowski\" target=\"_new\">Neal Markowski<\/a> lives in Chicago and plays in the groups <a href=\"https:\/\/koreanjeans.bandcamp.com\" target=\"_new\">Korean Jeans<\/a> (which features a tuba) and <a href=\"https:\/\/burnpermits.bandcamp.com\" target=\"_new\">Burn Permits<\/a> (which doesn&#8217;t feature a tuba.)
