Now it is happening! 5% of all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wholefoodsmarket.com\/stores\/princeton\/\" target=\"_new\">Whole Foods Princeton<\/a> (3495 US Route 1 South) sales on Tues. 9\/22 go to WPRB! Mark your calendar and buy your groceries then! Spread the word! &#8211; JS<\/p>\n<p><i>On September 22, 2009, Whole Foods Market Princeton will donate 5% of their daily sales to WPRB 103.3 FM, as part of their ongoing \u201cCommunity 5% Giving Days\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p>Four times a year, each Whole Foods Market store sets aside a day on which 5% of the day\u2019s net sales is contributed to a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Customers help support the selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWPRB is thrilled to be able to partner with such a respected organization as Whole Foods and have the chance to further promote ourselves in the community,\u201d says DJ Jon Solomon (Wednesdays, 7-10 p.m.), I hope listeners will plan to buy their groceries on the 22nd, knowing they will be supporting the station as they stock their pantry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During WPRB\u2019s \u201c5% Day\u201d there will be a booth where store visitors can learn more about the station, and meet volunteers who make up this incredibly unique community supported radio station.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>RSVP for this event on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/event.php?eid=160340260399\" target=\"_new\">Facebook<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Much of my summer was spent trying to put this event together.
