Jennifer O’Connor plays covers for pledges!


Remember the person above these words? Her name is Jennifer O’Connor and she is both an ace lady and a top-notch Matador recording artist. Her new album is called “Here With Me” and it gets my full approval. Buy it.

Jennifer will be making her third visit to WPRB on Wednesday, October 1st to play live on-air during the 2008 WPRB Membership Drive. My five hour “opening ceremonies” show will air from 7:00 pm ET – 12:00 am ET.

Like last year, she would be happy to try and play a slew of covers in exchange for listener pledges during this special program.

However, Jennifer needs some advance warning to try and learn these songs!

The 2008 WPRB Membership Drive.


It is that time of year again!

Starting on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 pm ET, 103.3 fm WPRB will be holding its second-ever membership drive. The drive will run until the end of the Wednesday, October 8th broadcast day.

Wednesday October 1st will feature a special five-hour “opening ceremonies” edition of my radio show show starting at 7:00 pm ET, with live guests Oxford Collapse (Sub Pop), Jennifer O’Connor (Matador Records), Home Blitz (Gulcher) and Brown Recluse Sings (Tequila Sunrise).

I promise to have surprise guests in store, too.

WPRB operators will be standing by at 609-258-1033 to take pledges during all hours of the broadcasting day. Listeners can pledge with all major credit cards or with PayPal using pledge.wprb.com. Show your support for WPRB’s unique and varied programming.
