Seriously, I just didn’t know through what other channel I should send this to you. Here’s a link to a youtube video with a Christmas song that you might deem worthy to add to your repertoire. The song itself is interesting, but knowing the story behind the guys who produced it makes it much more so. I guess how interesting they are, or aren’t, might depend on your politics and how seriously you take them. The guys are quasi-famous for starting an expat newspaper in Moscow, and many years later being run out of town for their brand of journalism. Reading the book featured on the youtube video details much of their history. Its worthwhile, if for nothing but the entertainment value. Taibi, who now writes for Rolling Stone, is famous for his recent Goldman Sachs expose. Ames is frequently on CNBC, and still writes investigative pieces frequently.

I’m a fanboy. Sue me. But the song is still up your alley. Looking forward to Christmas.

Chris,
Thanks for the link. Do you know of an mp3 of this tune? That would make it much easier to play on the air.
Best,
Jon
